Palm wax is a kind of plant wax which is prepared from plant as raw material through complex process. It is also an important non-petroleum wax. It is a good raw material for candles. It is also known as Brazilian carnauba wax, originated in Brazil, melting point at about 85 degrees Celsius, is a layer of wax on the surface of palm leaves, belonging to plant wax, high hardness, strong luster, polishing is good.

Carnauba wax is a wax of the leaves of the palm Copernicia prunifera, a plant native to Brazil, which grows only in the states of Ceará, Piauí and Rio Grande do Norte. Usually the wax is extracted in the form of hard brownish flakes. It is obtained from the leaves of the carnauba in a process that involves beating them to release the wax, followed by its refinement.
