Dextrose Monohydrate powder, CAS no. 5996-10-1, natural sweetener produced from starch. It is a white, crystalline powder with a sweet taste. Dextrose Monohydrate is used in wines, flavored enriched baked goods, soft drinks, cakes, puddings, dairy products, coffees, ice creams, meats, instant foods, and chewing gum. Dextrose anhydrous and Dextrose monohydrate are both purified and crystallized D-glucose compounds.
