What is Kojic Acid Powder?

Kojic Acid, an organic compound with the chemical formula C6H6O4, is mainly used as a whitening agent, a food additive, and also as a preservative, a freshness-keeping agent, and a color protection agent. Kojic acid dipalmitate is a chemical compound with the molecular formula C38H66O6, a white powder or needle-like crystal, mainly used as a whitening additive in cosmetics. Kojic acid dipalmitate is a fat-soluble derivative of Kojic acid, which overcomes the shortcomings of Kojic acid's instability to light and heat as well as its discoloration when encountering metal ions.
