      Food Ingredient Calcium Acetate & Sodium Acetate, Powder & Granular
                       Mono. & Anhydrous USP standard  CAS 62-54-4

 

It's white loose fine powder, odorless and slight bitter. Relative density is 1.50. It has strong moisture absorption. It will be broken up into CaCO3 and acetone when heated to 160ºC. Highly soluble in water. Slightly soluble in ethanol.

Food Additive Bakery Chocolate for Cakes, Bread and Cookies

Usage: It is used as chelating agent, mildew-retarding agent, stabilizer, buffering agent, flavoring agent, preservatives, curing agent,nutrient supplement, PH value regulator and processing agent.

Packing: It is packed with polythene bag as the inner layer, and plastic woven bag as the outer layer. The net weight of each bag is 25kg.

Storage and Transport: It should be stored in a dry, clean, and ventilated warehouse, kept away from water and moisture during transport, unload with care so as to avoid damaging the bags. Be cautious to keep away from moisture and hot.


 Calcium Acetate is used as a food additive, as a stabilizer, buffer and sequestrant, mainly in candy products under
- Colorless and odorless crystal, in the air can be weathered, flammable. Soluble in water and ether, slightly soluble in ethanol. Sodium acetate trihydrate melting point of 58, relative density 1.45, self-ignition point of 607.2. At 123 when the three molecules of water off. Anhydrous sodium acetate melting point of 324, relative density of 1.528.
